Description
by Jack and Annie We are going to describe The Mad Birthday Boy. His head is a hexagon with the flat side up. The mouth is the shape of a hemisphere and includes teeth and a tongue that is pink. Next, you draw the scary eyes by coloring in two black circles about one inch from each other. Then put checkmarks on top of the eyes. After that, draw the nose by using brown and making 2/3 of a triangle. Finally, make an orange triangle for the hat on top of the head with three black dots on the bottom of the hat. Draw the body by making two trapezoids with two squares sandwiched inside. Draw six green diagonal stripes across the body. Make the belly button a black dot at the bottom of where the two squares meet. After that, you draw the arms. There are two skinny rhombuses on each side making a V. There are blue and red stripes on them. The arms come from the middle of the body. Two yellow legs going down vertically come from the trapezoid on the body. Draw them on both sides. We hope you enjoyed making The Mad Birthday Boy. |
Analysis
by Annie and Jack Thank you Dominic, Will, and Brent for making The Mad Birthday Boy the best you could. You did a pretty good job. The body was perfect and the face was good for what we told you. You did the red and blue stripes correctly on the arms and made the hat orange. We knew it was The Mad Birthday Boy right away when we saw your drawing. We could have made the description much clearer. These are the things we forgot to tell you. When we said to draw two legs going down vertically from the trapezoid we should have written, “Draw two skinny rhombuses coming down from the trapezoid.” We also should have said to draw the mouth with the flat side down. The two points on the skinny rhombuses as arms should have been touching the body to make a hollow triangle in between. Sincerely, |
